Complaint office for examination matters
The complaints office for students can be contacted if you cannot find an appropriate addressee for your complaint concerning examination matters.
What are the issues I can contact the complaints office with?
The complaints office for students supplements the existing possibility of appealing against the procedure or the result of an examination. It should not take its place and should not act as an auditor, but should provide additional support. If you have any complaints about the examination procedure or the examination results, you should always speak to the responsible lecturer first. If this discussion does not lead to an agreement, an objection can be lodged with the responsible examination board. A legal review and, if necessary, correction of the contested decision can only be initiated through such a formal objection to the examination board.
Will my complaint be treat confidentially?
Complaints will be treated confidentially if you explicitly request it. After completing a complaint procedure, all personal data will be deleted.
